The XMLSpy tool has a lot of features that makes editing of the xml, xsl, dtd, and schema documents very easy. If you create an xml file based on a schema, you can check for the well-formedness of the xml document and you can also validate that xml document against a particular schema or a dtd.

Auto completion of the tags helps you to create and work with the xml document faster. Syntax color coding helps you to identify the attributes, elements, and the values easily. Validations can be done on a separate tabbed window. Scheme or DTD based entry help is also provided if you attach an xml file to a schema or dtd. This intelligent editing is provided in XMLSpy.

Find and replace based on regular expressions is also available apart from the ordinary find and replace feature. A CSS editor is also available. Graphical editing for Schema and DTD is available.
